Today God says: He promises me: My response to the word: My prayer: Today's scriptures: Quote for today:
"I am the Great Physician".
"But to you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings. You shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the sole of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says the Lord of hosts". (Mal. 4:2)
The Sun of righteousness is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Great Physician of my soul and body. When He arises in my life, healing comes to me. I will let Him arise throughout this day. Medical doctors sometimes measure physical health by the way the tongue looks; the Great Physician measures spiritual health by how the tongue speaks. I will thank God for providing health and healing for myself and others throughout this day.
Thank you, Lord, for the promises of your Word which declare that I can walk in good health throughout my life. Fill me with your Spirit, I ask, because I know this truth: "If the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus from the dead lives in you, He will quicken your mortal bodies by the Spirit that dwells in you".
"If you will listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what He considers right, if you pay attention to His commands and obey all His laws, I will never make you suffer any of the diseases I made the Egyptians suffer; because I am the Lord who heals you". (Exod. 15:26 GW) "He is the One who forgives all your sins, the One who heals all your diseases". (Ps. 103:3 GW) "The Apostles went from village to village, told the Good News, and cured the sick everywhere". (Luke 9:6 GW)
The way to use God's promises is to say, "This is my chequebook. I can take out the promises as I want them, sign them by faith, present them at the great Bank of Grace, and come away enriched with present help in time of trouble". (Charles Spurgeon)
