Today God says:
"In Christ, you are My righteousness"

He promises me:
"For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him". (2 Cor. 5:21)

My response to the word:
The spotless Lamb of God became sin on the cross for me. He carried all my sin and guilt and shame with Him so that I could become the righteousness of God in Him. This is an amazing truth. Jesus became sin so I could become righteousness. The Bible says, "But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made to us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption".

My prayer:
Living God, thank you for sending Jesus to take all my sins away and to make me righteous. He is my wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. Glory to His name.

Today's scriptures:
"You are partners with Christ Jesus because of God. Jesus has become our wisdom sent from God, our righteousness, our holiness, and our ransom from sin". (1 Cor. 1:30 GW) "God had Christ, who was sinless, take our sin so that we might receive God's approval through Him". (2 Cor. 5:21 GW) "Jesus Christ will fill your lives with everything that God's approval produces. Your lives will then bring glory and praise to God". (Phil. 1:11 GW)

Quote for today:
