Today God says:
"Prove me with your tithes and offerings".

He promises me:
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it". (Mal. 3:10)

My response to the word:
God asks me to prove Him with my tithes and offerings. He promises to bless me abundantly if I do. I realize that all I am and all I have is His to begin with; therefore, I will return the first-fruits of my income to Him. I will obey the words of Jesus, who said, "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break in and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven".

My prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for all that you have given to me. I am the steward over your property; therefore, I will give back to you through my tithes and offerings.

Today's scriptures:
"Stop storing up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal. Instead, store up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust don't destroy and thieves don't break in and steal. Your heart will be where your treasure is". (Matt. 6:19-21 GW) "Each of you should give whatever you have decided. You shouldn't be sorry that you gave or feel forced to give, since God loves a cheerful giver". (2 Cor. 9:7 GW)

Quote for today:
Money is a means, not an end - a tool to provide people with opportunities to hear and accept the gospel of Christ. (Charles Stanley)
